Holiday Gift Guide Day 32 - 5 minute Stackable Appetizer Maker

Between Thanksgiving and New Years we end up going to a lot of parties.  And it seems like we are always supposed to bring an appetizer or dessert.  I'm not going to lie, I never know what to bring.

This year has been a little easier with the 5 minute Stackable Appetizer Maker we got to review from Architect Housewares.

Since I struggle in the cooking department, I was hoping tat it would be super easy to use.  It was.  You just have to layer your desired ingredients, and then use the knife guides to slice it into even pieces.

There is a recipe book included with lots of ideas, but my husband and I decided we wanted to try our own recipe.

Our ingredients -
  • Flatbread
  • SunDried Tomato Pesto
  • Cream Cheese
  • Cucumbers
  • Tomatoes
  • Provolone Cheese

Instructions -

Put a layer of flat bread on the bottom .  Mix the Pesto and Cream Cheese together, and spread a layer on the flat bread.  Top with cucumbers, tomatoes, and provolone.  Then repeat the process 2 or 3 times.  We topped it off with another layer of flat bread, then sliced with the handy cutting guides.

Then we stuck in a few toothpicks and ended up with a perfectly sliced appetizer.

It was delicious.

To Buy - The 5 minute stackable appetizer maker retails for $19.99.  It really made the whole appetizer process a lot less daunting, and made us look like we knew what we were doing.  My husbands grandma saw it and wants one to.  She doesn't struggle in the cooking department, but she can't see very well so the cutting guide would be a huge help.
