Holiday Gift Guide Day 19 - Boom Boom Balloon

I received a product to review from the above company or their PR Agency. Opinions expressed in this post are strictly my own.

I don't have that much one on one time with my 4 year old daughter Bid.  But every day between 1 and 2, my time is hers.   Sometimes she wants to watch a movie with me or play monster high.  But usually we sit down for a board game marathon.  And she usually wins.

So to Celebrate Bid, today's gift idea is Boom Boom Balloon from Spin Master.

Boom Boom Balloon features
  • a balloon frame
  • 12 goofy face balloons
  • 10 sticks
  • a die
  • instructions
To play you blow up the balloon and then stick it in the frame.  Then you take turns rolling the dice and see how many sticks you have to push in.  You push in the desired number of sticks till they click.  And eventually the balloon goes boom.

To Buy - The game is all about anticipation.  It's not scary, but the balloons do actually pop.  So if your child gets startled easily, you may want to wait till they are older.  The game itself is recommended for kids ages 8 and up.

As a mom I like that the game does not require batteries.  However, only 12 balloons are included.  Regular balloons can easily be used as refills, so it's not a huge deal.  It's just something to keep in mind when you play the game.

Boom Boom Balloon of $19.99.  But here's a little hint, right now you can get it on Amazon for just $14.77.

  1. I like that there are no batteries too. My grandchildren would have a blast playing this.
