One of my must have products for Valentines Day is chocolate. Dark, Milk, White, I love it all.
If you look at the ingredients list on the back of most chocolate wrappers, you usually see a note that says it was processed at a plant where they have nuts. I don't have any food allergies, so I've never been concerned about that fact. But recently Kik had an allergic reaction to pistachios. She got welts on her face, and she turned red and blotchy, and her throat felt weird. It wasn't pretty.
Ever since that happened, Ive been concerned that she'll have a similar reaction to another type of nut. The problem being, she loves chocolate almost as much as I do.
With Vermont Nut Free Chocolates, nut allergy sufferers can indulge all they want. Vermont Nut Free Chocolates are "gourmet chocolates guaranteed safe for those with any nut or peanut allergy."
Besides this, they are delicious! The company sent me a few different products from their Valentines Day line to try, and I am in love!
The Dark Chocolate Skippers are one of my new absolute favorites. The Valentines Day Skippers ($7.95) are candy coated chocolates that come in a 16 oz bag. Think m&m's but thicker, smoother, and more creamy. I'm not ashamed to admit that my husband and I hid the bag and only shared with the kids when we were at the very bottom.
The Crispy Cupid Heart was almost too cute to eat. I loved the little bit of crunch mixed in with all of the smooth.
And the True Love Gift Pack ($11)? Well, it's hidden in the cupboard waiting for Valentines Day Morning.
It comes with two heart shaped pops and 18 small mini hearts. My kids are going to think I'm the coolest mom ever come Valentines Day.
Most of the items on the site are available in Dark, Milk, and White
chocolate, and all of the ingredients are listed right on the product
page so you can make sure they are safe.
To Buy - Whether you are a nut allergy sufferer, or just love gourmet chocolate, Vermont Nut Free Chocolates make a great gift.
