American Girl's 2013 Girl of the Year is Saige Copeland.
About - She's a spirited girl who draws on her passions to inspire action. The
Saige doll is 18" tall, with bright turquoise eyes that open and close.
She has long auburn hair that can be brushed and braided, and comes with
both pierced ears and an artsy ring!
I haven't seen her yet - as American Girl has yet to open a store in Utah - but from the pictures, she looks absolutely beautiful. My daughter loves her horse!
I have had the chance to read the first book in the two book collection.
Saige is a fun young girl with two passions - painting, and horses. When the art program at her school is threatened, she has to find a way to save the day. She helps organize a "Save the Arts" fundraiser, and learns that with a little work you can teach an old horse new tricks.
To Buy - The Saige book retails for $6.95 and can be purchased at the American Girl store online or at retailers nationwide. Or if you purchase the Saige doll, she comes with the first book.
