Glidden Icy Waterfall Paint Review and Giveaway

Summer is supposed to be slow and relaxing.  But with all of my kids and husband at home, it seems like I get less done.  Now that school is back in session, it's time to start sprucing up the house and checking off that to do list.   So starting today, and continuing every Fri in Sept., I'm going to introduce you to some products that make reinventing your house a breeze.

Today we are going to kick it off with Glidden Paint!

We have a small dingy bathroom, that I absolutely hate.  It's just so faded and drab that I hate going in there.  It makes me feel gross.

You can see how off it looks with the white cabinet.

I've wanted to completely gut it for awhile, but redoing bathrooms is expensive!  So we decided to do the simplest thing we could think of.

We went to Glidden.com.  Then we looked around and picked out some colors that we thought might work.  Then we narrowed it down by using the color palette tool to put the different colors on the walls.  We wanted a nice, light, clean color, that highlighted the features in the room without making the space feel cramped.  Glidden's Icy Waterfall paint did the job perfectly!

The paint went on smooth, and had nice even coverage.  We probably could have gotten away with one coat, but we did two just in case.  it's a huge improvement!

To Buy - After much trial and error, I've discovered that the easiest way to make a huge change in a room is a fresh coat of paint. Glidden has a huge selection of colors, and even comes in tester sizes so you can try it out before you commit to a color.  Glidden paints can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and other fine retailers nationwide.

To Win - Glidden is giving away four quarts of paint (in individual quart-sized cans) in the same Icy Waterfall color I tried out  to one of you!

On a completely unrelated note, they have a fun contest going on, where you could win paint for your childs school - and I'm talking whole school!
