Lakeshore Learning Review and Giveaway

I'm glad that Kik is back in school, but with school comes homework.   Homework is not always fun, and is often more work for the parent than the student.  But as the wife of a teacher, I know how important it is to help your child at home.  There are a lot of kids in a classroom, and teachers need parents help to reinforce the concepts taught in the classroom.   It's also very important as a parent to make that learning fun.

Enter Lakeshore Learning.

Lakeshore Learning has been around for more than 58 years, and is a company whose products are "designed with learning in mind."  They have a huge selection games, activities and learning toys, all focused on making learning fun.

Looking around at their website, I really thought my kids would love the  Phonemic Awareness Plinko Game.  I love the idea of turning something she needs to practice into something that's fun to do.

Since Kik has loved making videos lately, I asked Kik to pretend  that she was a teacher, and I was her student.  Here is the result.

The girls think it is so fun to drop the Plinko chips.  It has been great practice for the basic phonic rules Kik learned in Kindergarten, and Bid has gotten really good at rhyming.  Her words aren't always real words...  But she gets the concept.

To Buy - The Plinko game retails for $49.99 and is a great, fun tool for parents or teachers.

Also LakeshoreLearning.com is having an amazing sale! Free shipping when you spend $79 or more & 20% off hundreds of favorites (Offer valid through 9/4/12) www.lakeshorelearning.com
