Mr. Chewy $50 Gift Card Giveaway

We don't have any pets, not because we don't like them, but because of allergies.  I am really allergic to dogs and my husband has problems with cats.

Two years ago my husband decided that he really wanted cats and that he would just take allergy medicine every day.  So we went to our local animal shelter and picked up Doof and Moldy.  Doof and Moldy were really fun, beautiful long hair cats and we loved having them as part of our family.  But my husbands allergies got worse and worse and after a few months he developed severe asthma.  We almost had to take him to the emergency room a couple of times because he couldn't breathe.  In the end, we had to get rid of our kitties.  It was either them or my husband.

One thing I never liked about having kittens was the bags of cat food.  They were expensive, awkward to carry, and heavy.  MrChewy.com is an online pet food store that helps with those problems.

I'm severely allergic to cats and most dogs. Poodles are hypo allergenic and so wonderful! You might want to consider a poodle.

Thanks for the suggestion. My sister has a standard poodle and its true when he is clean he doesn't make me sick. But his fur is a catch all for dust and grass, and sadly those make me sick too. My parents have cats, dogs, and horses though so my kids get to be around animals sometimes.

I hadn't thought of the outdoor allergens, Alena. That's a good point. I used to have very severe allergies to dust and pollen but went through a course of shots when I was a kid so those improved. I really only now have the cat allergy.
