Christmas for a Baby?

We need to get a fun present for Baby Co, and I'm just not sure what to get. What could a 3 month old possibly want for Christmas? Should we get him some fun new toys that he won't be able to play with for months? Or some new clothes to poop on? Or how about a new crib or other nursery furniture to complete his room?

It's hard because we already have a house full of toys, he has tons of clothes, and there really isn't much room in his bedroom for anything else - although this bookcase really is tempting.

Kik and Bid picked out a giant stuffed moose for him, which is super cute but we have nowhere to put it, I'm thinking about getting one of those Boon Animal Bags for him.

I've always wanted one, and they are only $42 on (formerly CSN stores).

Does anyone have any experience with the Boon animal bags, or have any great gift ideas for a child that will be 3 months old at Christmas? If so, I would love to hear from you!

I received a product to review from the above company or their PR Agency. Opinions expressed in this post are strictly my own - I was not influenced in any way. I received no monetary compensation for this post.

  1. I don't have any experience with Boon Animals Bags but my little guy is three months old as well. His father and I discussed what to do for him for Christmas. We decided to get him a Bright Stars toy mat that he lays on and there are toys above him. My niece has one and he just loves it. And the great thing about this toy is that it grows with him. The toys can be taken off and it turns into a play mat and he can have the toys on the ground with him or they can connect to his car seat. We are also going to get a few clothes because who can resist cute little boy clothes?

  2. We have a green Boon animal bag and really love it! It's a great way to store all there stuffed toys and gives them a soft "bean bag" type chair to sit on or play on. They are made very well also!

  3. I love this idea! These look nice and what a great chair to boot!

  4. You're right, it is difficult to find gifts for a baby so young. They're not really aware of what's going on. I suggest getting what you need for the baby, and for a gift, take some white tissue paper, crumple it into a loose ball and give that. Babies LOVE that! It's so crinkly and rattley and they can scrunch or shred it! You just have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't ingest it - a big enough wad could choke a baby.

  5. I'd never heard of the boon bags before. Now I think I may have to get one. It would come in handy around here.

  6. it is hard. since you mentioned he has enough clothes, and I assume even for the next sizes & toys... how about a special set of baby oils & washes, maybe in a scent or made for a skin condition (sensitive or eczema, ect) the baby may have. I did that with my 2nd grandson since he had lots of hand me downs & new stuff. ~Faythe @ GMT

  7. I love the idea of the animal bag. Our son will be seven months by Christmas and we've been pretty good at not buying tons of toys since he's just as happy with a piece of paper. :) I'm nervous to see what our house will look like after Christmas with the grandparents!
