Curtain Critters Review

With less than 2 weeks left, I'm getting really antsy about everything to have to do with the baby. With 2 girls at home, it just seems like I have less time to get everything ready. I still need to pack my hospital bags, preregister at the hospital, give the house a good cleaning, and put the finishing touches on the boys room.
The basics have been ready for awhile. The crib was set up. The curtains, dresser, and rocking chair were in the room. But something was still missing.

I love the white curtains that we hung in the room. They actually block out the light extremely well and look incredibly crisp and clean. But they are just so white. To take care of the problem, I went to the web and started searching for curtain accessories. I didn't want to change them drastically, but I did want something to spice things up a bit.

I found the perfect thing at Curtain Critters.

Curtain Critters are cute animal curtain tiebacks, that are perfect for any kids room or nursery.  The Curtain Critters consist of a plush animal head and arms that connect with Velcro to hold the curtains back.  Curtain Critters come in a variety of styles including farm animals, dinosaurs, bugs, and even snowmen.

Since we're doing a Safari theme in the boys room we decided to go with an Elephant and a Lion Curtain Critter.

They are absolutely adorable and add just the right amount of interest to the curtains without ruining the clean look I was going for in the room.

Even though I tell them not to, my girls love to take them off the curtains and attach them to other things.  They fit nicely on cribs, strollers, car seats, backpacks, and even make a great necklace.

To Buy - You can buy Curtain Critters in sets for just $24.95, or you can mix and match to create your own set for just $12.95 each.  If you are looking for a good way to add a little creativity and personality to a child's room, Curtain Critters are a great way to do just that!  For more info you can also find them on facebook and twitter!

  1. Those are super cute but I can see my kids trying to climb up the curtain or pull them off...LOL My daughter would rather attach it to herself and carry it around like a baby!
