Melissa and Doug Sand Toys Review

Because I've been hot and pregnant this summer, a lot of our time has been spent sitting outside in the shade watching my girls play in the kiddie pool. My girls love it, but sometimes they get a bit bored.

Last week I decided to change things up a bit and give them some fun outdoor toys to play with - the Melissa and Doug Clicker Crab Pail and Scoop, and the Melissa and Doug Seaside Sidekicks Sand Baking Set.

I know that these toys are technically for sand, but I thought my girls would love them just as much in the water. Here is the result.

The pool was emptied out, buckets were dumped over heads, and chaos ensued.  After the mayhem was over, the girls got a little more creative and used the baking ingredients to make "witches stew."  We collected grass, bugs, dirt, rocks, flowers, and mixed them all in our buckets until we had a delightful treat.

To Buy - The Melissa and Doug Sand Toys were durable and fun to use.  My girls don't always share the best, and the Melissa and Doug Toys held up to being pulled out of hands and thrown around the yard.

My girls are really excited for the next nice - but not too hot day. We'll be using the Melissa and Doug Seaside Sidekicks Sand Cupcake Set and Sand Molding Set to make Mud Cakes and Sand Castles to decorate our flower garden!
