Gomu - The Collectible Eraser! Review

With the end of school right around the corner, I've been looking for fun inexpensive products that my daughter can share with her school friends.  What I came up with is Gomu!

Gomu are fun collectible erasers that currently come in 10 different themes and 100+ styles.  They come in everything from a zoo theme to fashion, making them completely gender neutral and fun for kids with all different interests.

Each Gomu Eraser also has its own point value, which is based on how rare the individual Gomu is.  Kids can keep track of their collection online, and tally up their points as they add more.  And best of all they start at just under a dollar, making them completely affordable even for kids!

We gave my daughters some Gomu Erasers for their birthdays, and they absolutely loved them.

I was surprised to see that the erasers actually come up apart and "play" function as their real counterpart would.  The highlighter and lipstick have lids. The DS actually has a game that slides out, and the drum set actually has sticks that can be used to beat the drum.

Even though they are erasers and my daughter love to draw, all of our Gomu erasers have somehow migrated downstairs to the dollhouse that my husband built the girls for Christmas.  They are the perfect size for Barbies, and it's just so much more fun for the girls to play Barbies with interactive products.

To Buy - Gomu Erasers are a fun, collectible craze, that are definitely worth the dollar they cost.  They would be great for handing out to friends at the end of a school year (like we are going to do), or even a fun little item to slip in to a birthday party grab bag.  Gomu Erasers are currently available for purchase at Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target, and Toys R Us.

Disclosure - I was sent a product for review purposes from the above company or their Pr Agency.  I received no compensation for this post.  Opinions are completely me own.

  1. Hi Alena, I purchase some erasers that were moulded in the shape of fries, coke- a cup with a straw,a burger and a hot dog. I am afraid I was a little mean; told my god-daughter that I had these items for her - failed to tell her they were erasers!lol She did get a surprise when I presented her with a box of erasers. But she loved them. Nina
