The girls love getting new pajamas on Christmas Eve. Not only do they get to open a present early, but it rings in the official start to Christmas.
This year my girls are getting normal pajamas and robes for Christmas. But for my husband and I, the pajama elf has something a little more fun in mind. We're getting adult footie pajamas from Pajama City!
I had a really hard time deciding which pajamas to get my husband. I couldn't decide whether to get something more subdued, like the 3 Wolf Moon Fleece Adult Footed Pajamas - with Drop Seat. Or make the pajamas more of a nod back to his childhood with the Retro Space and Robots Fleece Adult Footed Pajamas - with Drop Seat.
Since they are footie pajamas with bum flaps I decided that I had to go with the robots!
Love it! Both of the pajama styles above feature
- soft fleece material
- unisex sizing
- zipper front
- friction dot soles
- kangaroo pockets
- Velcro drop seat
My husband wore them the first night and really enjoyed them. He does have incredibly long monkey arms, so they were a little short, but other than that he thought they were warm and comfy.
After he wore them the first night I had to try them for myself. So even though they are way too big, I confiscated them.
They are super soft and kept me really warm. They have elastic in the ankles so they stayed on my feet despite the extra large sizing. I love the giant kangaroo pockets and the sticky feet. The only thing that I found somewhat disconcerting was the sound of Velcro snapping when I bent over too far.
Now I just need to get some in a better size. Who knows, after the Pajama Elf comes in a few weeks you may just see a picture of me sporting one of my favorite styles - The Green Frogs Print Drop Seat One Piece Pajamas.
