Holiday Gift Guide Day 29 - Teleidoscope Review

Today's gift idea is the Teleidoscope - a fun optical toy for almost anyone on your Holiday List.

For those of you that have no idea what a Teleidoscope is, the only way I know how to describe it is that it's similar to a Kaleidoscope but different. Both are long tubes with optical mirrors placed on the inside. But while a Kaleidoscope has colored objects or oil on the inside to create a pattern, the Teleidoscope just has a clear marble on the end. This creates a kaleidoscopic image of whatever you are looking at, but allows the color and pattern profile to change whenever you look in a new direction.

I received the 5.5in Laminated Solid Woods With Paduk Teleidoscope to review from Kaleidoscopes to You and I was very impressed.

First off, the Teleidoscope looked great.  It was real hardwood and I loved the colors.  It also came with a matching stand that is perfect for display purposes.

The Teleidoscope is also super fun to look through.  The second I got it, I had to put it up to my eye and try it out.  This is what I saw.

I really enjoy that the picture and color is always changing, depending on what you are looking at through the lens.   Kik thought it was so funny to look at her little sister and see her face morphing into unrecognizable shapes.  She didn't want to put it down.

To Buy It - Starting at just 4.99, the Teleidoscope would be a perfect inexpensive stocking stuffer for kids.  Kaleidoscopes to You also has a wide range of gifts for adults including necklaces, musical kaleidoscopes, and stained glass

making Kaleidoscopes to You the perfect shopping destination for a fun unique gift.
