The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp by Rick Yancey

The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp by Rick Yancey

This book had a very different take on the Arthurian legend. It was set in modern times and involved the descendants of the knights of the round table. It was an interesting read, but there was some swearing and violence.

Alfred Kropp has always been anything but special. He is large and awkward and lonely. When his uncle enlists his help stealing a sword, Alfred will become involved in a centuries old struggle. Alfred will have to learn and accept who he is if he is to defeat his enemies and survive to tell it.
