Eleven by Lauren Myracle
The book was okay. It was a pretty accurate description of what its like to grow up and lose friends. Parts of the book were funny but there was also some crudity and some inappropriate language.
The book starts on Winnie's eleventh birthday, and each chapter in the book represents a new month in her life. On Winnie's eleventh birthday life is normal and how it should be. But as the year progresses Winnie has to deal with moody older sisters, boys, and losing old friends. Winnie must survive the year and find a way to adapt to her ever changing life.
