Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz

Stormbreaker (Alex Rider Adventure) by Anthony Horowitz

Rating:

Stormbreaker is the first book in the Alex Rider Series. It is a good children's action book. Like most action books, the book is violent and people do die. But it is not descriptive like adult action books, and it doesn't swear. The book is very exciting and fast-paced.

Description:
Alex Rider is a born spy. He has a black belt in karate, speaks Spanish, German, French, and English, and he is an amazing athlete. Alex considers himself to be a normal school boy who happens to be good at sports. But when Alex's uncle and guardian Ian Rider is killed, Alex discovers the truth about his life. Ian was never a bank vice president like he pretended to be, but a top spy for the British Government. Alex must take over his uncle's mission and be the spy he was born to be, before the world is destroyed.
